If you do not have a login and password for this PlanSource site, click on the Sign Up Here link on the Login Page, complete the registration form and set your login and password. You will use this login and password every time you access this PlanSource site, you do not need a new one for each project.

2. Project Access

There are two ways to access project files online, pre-authorization or with a Project Key:

  • If you have been pre-authorized to view a project file, you will have an authorized project link on the Main Page when you login.
  • If you were given a Project Key, enter it in the Register for Project box on the Main Page. This will give you the authorized link to the project. Click on the blue link to open the project file and view the information.

3. View Documents

Once you have the project open, click on the Documents tab to view the folders and project documents. Click on a folder to open it and click on a document name to view it. Most documents will automatically open using the SourceViewer allowing you to work with the documents online. Some documents will require you to open them using your own software (ie: Word, Excel, AutoCAD).

Once in the SourceViewer, you will have access to an entire menu of tools. These tools will allow you to search the document text, print, download and order documents, add mark-ups and annotations and perform on-screen take-offs. For example:
